So thrilled to be interviewed by Alessandro Detoni for Cool Hunting this morning at our 方家胡同 Fangjia Hutong office and showroom!
We first met Alessandro at the Nuandao Spring Awakening Designer Market/Installation and today he visited us to learn more about Tranquil Tuesdays, sip some teas, chat more about our story and social enterprise model and mission, as well as shoot some photos (see above for my cellphone camera renditions).
It was great fun meeting great people like Alessandro (who has totally amazing Chinese). Originally from Milan, Italy he has been traveling to, studying, living and working in China for over 11 years and it all started when he heard a quote from the 道德经 Dao De Jing/Tao Te Ching in Italy and decided he needed to learn Chinese…
We look forward to sharing the story once it is published!
